VISITORS: DonJarvisandDuaneJarvis, Architects,andHyde,ChairmanoftheRecreationCommittee werepresent. ARCHITECT'SPRESENTATION CENTER DonaldJarvisinformedthegroup that the sketchesoftheciviccenterwouldbeexplainedindetailby DuaneJarvisthat.the buildings hadbeendesignedtobeflexible,funct ionalandbeautiful DuaneJarvispresented sketches eachbuildingandexplainedtheproposedfunctionofeachbuilding. STATIONMATERIALS DuaneJarvisstatedthatisnec essarytohaveadecisiononsomeofthe materials tobeusedintheconstr 2. uctionofFireStationHepresentedthefollowingsamples;brick, terrazzo,walnut,veneerforkitchencabinets,panelingandCouncil manOwensmadethemotionthatthearchitectsbeauthorizedtoselectmat 2. erialsandcolorsfor Fire StationCouncilman Douglass secondedthe motionwhichcarriedunanimously. ADJOURNMENT MayorBobbyFullerinquired therewerefurtherquestionsorcomments.Therebeingnone,hethankedthe PlanningandZoningCommissionmembersformeetingwiththecounciland Messrs.DonandDuaneJarvisfor their presentation.CouncilmanDouglass madethemotionthatthemeeting adjourn, CouncilmanByerssecondedthe motionwhichcarriedunanimously.
