CALL TO ORDER
Mayor W. G. Fuller c a l l e d a j o i n t meet-
ing of the Euless City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission to
order a t $ :00 P. M., i n the home of W. G. Fuller-; The f o l l o w i n g c o u n c i l -
m e n were present: Messrs. Bobby Fuller, Harold Samuels, B i l l y Byers, and
Don Warren. (Absent: Frank Douglass.)
Planning and Zoning Commission members pre-
sent were: Messrs. Bert Heyl, Henry Uselton, and Don Hastings. (Absent:
Messrs. Edward Smith and La Vern Lee).
City Architect Duane Jarvis and City Manager
Lee Cowell were also present.
DISCUSSION CF CIVIC CENTER SKETCHES
CITY OFFICES, POLICE BUILDING AND
COMMUNITY BUILDING
The meeting was called to discuss the revised
plans as submitted by the architect for the Community Building, City Offices
and Police Building. After discussing the revised plans of the Community
Building, it was moved by Councilman Byers that the architect be authorized
to proceed with detailed plans and specifications on this facility. The
motion was seconded by Councilman Samuels and carried unanimously.
Considerable discussion followed concerning
the revised plans of the City Offices and Police Building. Mayor Fuller
asked that the minutes reflect that he feels that the vault shown in the
city offices should be adjacent to the City Secretary's Office and that the
office of the City Secretary, as shown on the sketch, should be larger. It
was moved by Councilman Fuller that the architect proceed with detailed plans
and specifications on the City Offices and Police Building and that Mayor
Fuller and City Manager Cowell be authorized to work on the details of room
size and office position with the architect. The motion was seconded by
Councilman Samuels and carried unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 10:15 P. M.

*(The meeting was scheduled to be held at the City Hall. However just as the
group assembled, an electrical storm caused the City Halls lights to go out
and the meeting reconvened at Mayor Fuller's House).
