COUNCIL AND STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT
Panel members included Mayor Linda Martin, Mayor Pro Tem Jeremy Tompkins and
Council Members Tim Stinneford, Eddie Price, Perry Bynum, Harry Zimmer, Salman
Bhojani, and city staff including City Manager Loretta Getchell, Deputy City Manager Bob
Freeman, Assistant City Manager Chris Barker, Police Chief Mike Brown, Director of
Planning and Economic Development Mike Collins, Director of Parks and Community
Services Ray McDonald, and Fire Chief Wes Rhodes.
Staff members present included City Secretary Kim Sutter, Director of Finance Janina
Jewell, Assistant to the City Manager Betsy Deck, Texas Star General Manager Glenda

Deputy City Manager Bob Freeman introduced the members of the panel.
TOPICS OF DISCUSSION
Staff responded to questions from the audience related to the following:
- Harwood Road improvements
- Noise complaints related to Fort Worth establishment
- Atmos Energy gas pipeline
- Development of property at the NE corner FM 157 and SH 183
- Library renovation
- Riverwalk development
- Highway 121 expansion
- Location of liquor stores
- Addition of grocery store in south Euless
Director of Parks and Community Services Ray McDonald presented a parks department
update, including Carr Park, Heritage Park, South Euless Park, and Wilshire Park
renovations, Texas Star Sports Complex, and the proposed redevelopment of the Softball
World facility.
Director of Planning and Economic Development Mike Collins presented a development
update including Glade Parks, and Founders Parc, formerly known as Midtown.
Assistant City Manager Chris Barker presented an capital improvements update, including
upcoming road improvements and water well replacements.
Police Chief Mike Brown advised that a Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD)
continuation election will be held May 2, 2020.
Assistant to the City Manager Betsy Deck advised of the upcoming 2020 Census and the
need for everyone to participate and be counted.
City Manager Loretta Getchell advised that recent legislative changes related to the timeline
to adopt the city's ad valorem tax rate will require the rescheduling of the August 2020
regular City Council meeting dates.
The Mayor and City Council expressed their appreciation to those in attendance for their
questions and comments.
