CRIME CONTROL AND PREVENTION DISTRICT
MINUTES OF BOARD MEETING
APRIL 15, 2020
ITEM 1. CALL TO ORDER
A meeting of the Crime Control and Prevention District(CCPD) Board was called to order
by President Ron Shields on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. in the Conference
Room in City Hall, 201 North Ector Drive, Euless.
Board members present included:
Citizen Member Ron Shields, President
Citizen Member Mike Pruitt
City Secretary Kim Sutter, Secretary
Members participating via video conferencing:
Mayor Pro Tern Jeremy Tompkins, Vice President
City Council Member Eddie Price
City Council Member Perry Bynum
Citizen Member Rusty Brown
Director of Finance Janina Jewell, Treasurer
Board members absent:
City Council Member Harry Zimmer
Director of Finance, Janina Jewell, Treasurer
Additional staff and Council members present included:
Deputy City Manager Chris Barker
Police Chief Mike Brown
Emergency Management Coordinator Suzanne Hendrickson
ITEM 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 24, 2019 MEETING
Upon motion by Mayor Pro Tern Tompkins and second by Council Member Bynum, the
minutes of the September 24, 2019 meeting were approved by a unanimous vote.
ITEM 3. CONSIDER RESOLUTION NO. 20-12CCPD, POSTPONING THE MAY 2,
2020 CCPD CONTINUATION ELECTON TO NOVEMBER 3, 2020 AS
AUTHORIZED BY THE TEXAS GOVERNOR'S PROCLAMATION
ISSUED MARCH 18, 2020.
President Ron Shields introduced the item and opened the floor for questions. Hearing
no questions or comments, President Shields asked for a motion.

Upon motion by Council Member Price and second by Citizen Member Mike Pruitt,
Resolution No. 20-12CCPD was approved by a unanimous vote.
ITEM 4. ADJOURNMENT
Upon motion by Citizen Member Mike Pruitt and second by Citizen Member Rusty Brown
to adjourn the meeting, President Shields adjourned the meeting at 2:13 p.m.
