A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EULESS, APPROVING THE SALE OF
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the City %J EUless, for itself and the use and benefit of TARRANT
COUNTY and the HURST-EULESS-BEDFORD INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT
has acquired title to a certain tract of real estate at a Tax Sale held on October 4, 2005 in
Cause No. 236-L13332-96, HURST- CHI ESS-BEDFORD INDEPENDENT SCHOOL
DISTRICT VS. ESTATE OF GEORGE A. IRVIN; and
WHEREAS, Section 34.05(a), Texas Property Tax Code, authorizes the City of
Euless, by and through its governing body, to resale the property; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Euless and its taxpayers to return
this property to a productive use; and
WHEREAS, an offer has been made by SHIJU PORINCHU to purchase the
property for the sum of THIRTY SEVEN THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED and 00/100
Dollars ($37,500.00) for judgment years 1992 thru 1999;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
The Mayor is authorized to sell, convey and transfer that certain tract of real estate
acquired at the above described tax sale for the sum of $37,500.00, as authorized by
Section 34.05, Texas Property Tax Code. The liens foreclosed by the judgment and the
post -judgment tax liens are extinguished by virtue of the conveyance.
BLOCK 1, LOT 15, CRESTHAVEN ADDITION, AN ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF EULESS, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, AND LOCATED
WITHIN THE HURST-EULESS-BEDFORD INDEPENDENT SCHOOL
DISTRICT, AS SHOWN BY A DEED OF RECORD IN VOLUME 4627,
PAGE 645 OF THE DEED RECORDS OF TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS.

June 23, 2020, by a vote of 7 ayes 0 nays and
