OF THE EULESS CITY COUNCIL
May 28, 2020
A budget work session of the Euless City Council was called to order at 6:15 p.m. on
Thursday, May 28, 2020, in the precouncil conference room at Euless City Hall, 201 North
Ector Drive, Euless, Texas.
Those attending included:

Council Member Tim Stinneford
Council Member Eddie Price
Council Member Perry Bynum
Council Member Harry Zimmer
Council Member Salman Bhojani
City Manager Loretta Getchell
Deputy City Manager Chris Barker
City Secretary Kim Sutter
Finance Director Janina Jewell
City Manager Loretta Getchell welcomed everyone in attendance. She reviewed the
strategy for next year's budget, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic to city
revenues. Additionally, she discussed the challenges and the budget adoption timeline
in relation to the passage of Senate Bill 2 (SB 2).
Deputy City Manager Chris Barker reviewed the Capital Improvement Program, including
the proposed and unfunded projects.
Staff responded to questions related to the fiscal year 2021 budget challenges and the
proposed capital improvement program projects.
Council Members were reminded of the cancellation of the June 14, 2020 town hall
meeting (COVID-19 pandemic). Additionally, a budget worksession will be held on
Monday, June 29, 2020.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:12 p.m.
