A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF EULESS, TEXAS, TO
ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORATION — FORT WORTH DISTRICT FOR A LOCAL ON-
SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (LOSA) FOR ROADWAY
IMPROVEMENTS ON STATE HIGHWAY 10 / DEL PASO STREET.
WHEREAS, it is recognized that it is in the best interest of the citizens of the City
of Euless, Texas, that the City enter into an agreement with the Texas Department of
Transportation - Fort Worth District for a Local On-System Improvement Project (LOSA)
for roadway improvements on State Highway 10 / Del Paso Street; and
WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation — Fort Worth District and the
City of Euless have agreed to said terms of the Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation — Fort Worth District and the
City of Euless have agreed to contract with each other for improvements on State
Highway 10 / Del Paso Street; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EULESS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1.
The City Council of Euless, Texas, hereby authorizes the City Manager or her
designee to enter into an agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation — Fort
Worth District for a Local On-System Improvement Project (LOSA) for roadway
improvements on State Highway 10 / Del Paso Street, and to transmit the same to the
State of Texas for appropriate action.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Euless City Council on
the November 10, 2020, by a vote of 7 ayes, 0 nays, and 0 abstentions.
