CALL TO ORDER
51
Mayor W. G. Fuller called the meeting to
order at 7:15 P. M. in the Council Chambers of Euless City Hall, stating that the
purpose of the meeting i s to consider the tabulation of votes cast i n the Municipal
E l e c t i o n h e l d on t h i s date: Councilmen present are l i s t e d as follows: Messrs. B i l l
Byers, Frank Douglass, Harold Samuels and Dan Shull. (Councilman Don Warren arrived
shortly after the Call to Order.)
Also present were City Attorney James Cribbs,
City Manager C. J. Griggs and Recording Secretary Florence Murr.
ACCEPTANCE OF ELECTION RETURNS
At the request of the Election Judge, Mrs.
Reba Cromer, Councilman Samuels read her report, as follows:
A total of eight hundred, ninety -three (893) votes were cast i n
the Municipal Election. Votes were tabulated, as follows:

Albert C. Krause
FOR COUNCILMAN. PLACE 2:
Harold Copher
Donald C. Lincoln
FOR COUNCILMAN, PLACE 4:
Audie L. Morris
Ivan Gregory, Jr.

512 votes
501 votes
374 votes
229 votes
322 votes
318 votes.
The City Attorney advised that a run -of
election will be necessary for the election of a Councilman for Place 4.
Councilman Warren made the motion to accept
the e l e c t i o n returns and declare Albert C. Krause and Harold Copher as having re-
ceived a majority o f the votes. Subject to the C o u n c i l ' s accepting t h e i r q u a l i f i c a -
t i o n s , the s a i d Albert C . Krause and Harold Copher w i l l be seated at the next
regular counci 1 meeting on April 22, 1969. Councilman Byers seconded the motion,
and the vote i s. as follows:
Ayes: Councilmen Byers, Douglass, Samuels, Warren and Shull
Nays: None
Mayor Fuller declared the motion carried.

RESOLUTION NO . 232, CALLING
SECOND ELECTION (MUN ICI PAL
RUN -OFF) TO BE HELD ON '
SATURDAY, APRIL 26, 1969
City Attorney James Cribbs announced that
the results of the election. for Councilman, Place 4 necessitates a run -dff between
Messrs. Ivan Gregory, Jr. and 3. Dwayne Wilcox. The City Attorney presented
Resolution No. 232, calling an election for that purpose for Saturday, April 26,
1969.
Councilman Byers made the motion to
approve Resolution No. 232, setting April 26, 1969, as the date for a second
election to be held for the purpose of electing one Councilman for Place 4.
Councilman Warren seconded the motion, and the vote is as ' fol laws;
Ayes: Councilmen Byers, Douglass, Samuels, Warren and Shull
Nays: None
Mayor Fuller declared the motion carried.
