Called Meeting
of the
Euless City Council
April 26, 1969
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 7 :07
P. M., in theCounci 1 Chambers of Euless City Hall, by Mayor Albert C. Krause, the
purpose of the meeting being to consider the tabulation of votes cast in the
Municipal Run -off Election held on this date. Councilmen present are listed as
follows: Messrs. Harold Copher, Frank Douglass, Harold Samuels, Dan Shull and
Don R. Warren.
Also present were City Manager C. J.
Griggs and Recording Secretary Florence Murr.
REPORT RAM ELECTION JUDGE,
MRS, JOYCE OWENS
Mrs. Joyce Owens reported that a total of
five hundred, twenty -five (525) votes were cast i n the Municipal Run -off Election for
Councilman, Place 4, as follows:
Ivan Gregory, Jr.
J. Dwayne Wilcox
CANVASS CF ELECTION BALLOTS
200 votes
325 votes
Councilman Douglass moved to canvass and
accept the results of the Municipal Run -off Election held on this date, and to
declare Mr. J. Dwayne Wilcox duly elected as Councilman, Place 4 on the City of Euless
City Council. Counci man Shull seconded the motion, and the vote is as fold,ows:
Ayes: Coun ilmen Copher, Douglass, Samuels, Shull and Warren
Nays: None
Mayor Krause declared the motion carried.
