Regular Meeting
Euless City Council
October 4, 1954
The City Council met in regular session
at 7:30 P.m., on October 4, 1954. Present were Mayor J. J. Umphress,
Councilmen Tillery, Fuller, Ernest Millican, Jr., and J. S. Anderson.
Minutes of the previous meeting on September
6, 1954, were read and unanimously approved.
Mayor Umphress read a form letter of
solicitation for funds to be used in building a City Hall; said letter
to go to each utility firm doing business with the City.
The Council spent some time studying a
drawing of the suggested City Hall Building and then met with the Firemen's
Building Committee. No definite action was taken; however, various phases
of the buildings and plans for construction were discussed.
The meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
