Euless City Council
October 19, 1954
The City Council met in special session at
7:30 p.m., October 19, 1954. Present were Mayor J. J. Umphress; Councilmen
A. E. Tillery, Ernest Millican, Jr., and J. S. Anderson.
The meeting was called for the expressed
purpose of considering a Sewage Franchise being offered the City of Euless
by Wisenbaker, Fix and Associates of Tyler, Texas.
With a copy before each one present,
the Franchise was carefully read by Mayor Umphress, each section being
studied and discussed in order by the entire group. After due consideration
the entire contract was found to be acceptable, with the exception of
Section 9 ( n i n e ) which was altered t o meet the approval of a l l concerned.
Then, on motion by A. E. Tillery and seconded by Ernest Millican, Jr., the
franchise was adopted by unanimous vote as Ordinance No. 26, which is
filed in ordinance book with tally sheet attached.
The meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
