Called Meeting
of the
Euless City Council
April 11, 1970
CALL 10 ORDER
Mayor A. C. Krause called the meeting to
order at 7:10 P. M. in the Council Chambers of the Euless City Hall with the
following Councilmen in attendance: Messrs. Frank Douglass, Dan Shull, Don
Warren, Harold Copher and Dwayne Wilcox.
Also present were City Manager C.
Griggs, City Attorney James Cribbs, and City Secretary Vada Ferris.
There were several Citizens present for
the announcement of the election results.
CANVASS ELECTION BALLOTS
Mayor Krause announced this meeting is
for the purpose of canvassing the ballots cast in the mum;iacipai election
held this date for the purpose of electing three (3) councilmen (Place One,
Three and Five).
Mrs. Reba Cromer, Election Judge,
presented a tabulation of votes and announced that six hundred sixty -two
(662) ballots were cast. Councilman Wilcox read the results of the election,
as presented by Mrs. Cromer:

(Pape Two, Called Meeting of the Euless City Council, April 11, 1970)
Councilman Wilcox announced that the
following persons are elected:
Place One
Frank Douglass
Place Three
Dan Shull
Place Five
Don R. Warren
Mrs. Cromer presented tabulation of
votes, as required by law, to the Mayor and City Secretary.
Councilman Wilcox made the motion that
the Council accept the vote tabulation as presented by the election judge
and declare Mr. Frank Douglass, Place One, Mr. Dan Shull, Place Three, and
Don RarWarren, M.D., Place Five, duly elected to serve on the Euless City
Council for a period of two (2) years. CoUncilman Copher seconded the
motion and the vote i s as follows:
Ayes: Councilmen Wilcox, Copher, Douglass, Warren and Shull
Nays: None
Mayor Krause declared the motion carried and thanked Mrs. Cromer and other
election officials for their assistance.
ADJOURNMENT
at 7 :14 P. M.
