Vice-Chairman Barney Snitz called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
DISPOSITION OF THE MINUTES: The Vice-Chairman asked for a motion to be made to accept the
minutes of June 7, 2012. Loretta Doty made the motion to accept the minutes and Allan Gibbs seconded the
motion.
WELCOME VISITORS: Vice-Chairman Barney Snitz welcomed LuAnn Portugal to the meeting.
REPORT FROM THE LIBRARY ADMINISTRATOR:
Kate Lyon presented the July statistics.
All VHS tapes have been withdrawn from the collection.
Verlon Thompson concert for August 171x' is totally booked.
We have a new re-organization chart from the City of Euless. The library will now report to Assistant City
Manager Chris Barker.
Kate reported that she and ELF President, Sandra Crowley, are searching for a tile artist to possibly take over
the tile project
DISCUSSIONS:
1. Loretta Doty commented on the Police Annual Bar-b-que Fundraiser on September 22, 2012
2. Loretta Doty commented on the West Nile mosquito spraying schedule
3. Chris McAllister commented on how good our SRC for the Youth was this year
4. Chris McAllister commented on the great volunteers that work during the SRC this year
5. Chris McAllister inquired about the new color printer for the public
CITIZEN INPUT:
1. LuAnn Portugal commented on how well the Local History/Genealogy Room is used by the public.
ADJOURNMENT:
The Vice-Chairman asked for a motion to adjourn. The motion was made by Betty Fuller and seconded by
Chris McAllister. The meeting was adjourned at 7:45pm
