Members of the Euless City Council attended a joint meeting of the
Hurst - Euless- Bedford Economic Development Foundation along with representatives
from the City of Hurst, City of Bedford, Hurst - Euless- Bedford Independent School
District and the HEB Chamber of Commerce on Monday, February 18, 2013, at the Pat
May Center in Bedford, Texas.
Representatives from the City of Euless included:
Mayor Pro Tem Perry Bynum and Lisa Bynum
Council Member Tim Stinneford
Council Member Leon Hogg and Jan Hogg
Council Member Linda Martin
City Manager Gary McKamie
Deputy City Manager Loretta Getchell
Assistant City Manager Chris Barker
Director of Planning and Economic Development Mike Collins
City Secretary Kim Sutter
Following dinner, the meeting was called to order at 6:15 p.m. by HEB Chamber of
Commerce President and CEO Mary Martin Frazior. The invocation was given by
HEB ISD Trustee Faye Beaulieu. Bedford Mayor Jim Griffin led the Pledge of
Allegiance.
Euless Council Member Leon Hogg, Chair of the HEB Economic Development
Foundation (HEBE DF), recognized the members of the HEB EDF Board of Directors
for Fiscal Year 2011 -2012 and for Fiscal Year 2012 -2013, and he reviewed the
economic indicators and related statistics for the three cities.
Hurst Economic Development Director Steve Bowden, Euless Director of Planning and
Economic Development Mike Collins, and Bedford Economic Development Director
Bill Syblon each gave development updates related to activity in their respective cities
during the past year.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:06 p.m.
