Staff members present, in addition to Assistant Police Chief Bob Freeman, included City Manager Gary McKamie, Deputy City Manager Loretta Getchell, Assistant City Manager Chris Barker City Secretary Kim Sutter, Police Chief Mike Brown, Public Works Director Ron Young, Parks and Community Services Director Ray McDonald, Fire Chief Wes Rhodes, Director of Finance Vicki Rodriquez, Fire Marshal Paul Smith, CommunicationslMarketing Manager Betsy Deck, Police Captains Gary Landers, Steve Kockos and Steve Eskew, Police Lieutenant Joe Kraft, Neighborhood Police Officer James Gordon, Senior Police Corporal Tony Burnett, Senior Police Officer Chris White, Police Technical Service Manager Gary Gregg, Public Works Manager J. T. Ackerman, Information Services Administrator Dan McLain, Library Administrator Kate Lyon, Texas Star General Manager Glenda Hartsell - Shelton, Senior Civil Engineer Alien Harts, Code Inspectors James Patterson, Goose Wall, and Brian McGarry. TOPICS OF DISCUSSION Recycling efforts at the recreation center Infrastructure maintenance, including striping of streets, upgrade of ADA ramps at city intersections, and maintenance of trails in City parks Town Hall Meeting Minutes January 26. 2012 Pane 2 Baze Road reconstruction Animal control related to squirrels Street sweeping services Storm water drainage in neighborhoods Smoking in restaurants Adopt -a -Park Program Water conservation and current water storage, and rain watering harvesting Code Compliance related to parking across sidewalks and on unpaved surfaces Burglary and crime statistics Glade Parks development City swimming pools and study for aquatics center City finances and current year budget Fire protection services in north Euless Greet the Soldiers at DFW The Mayor and City Council expressed their appreciation to those in attendance for their questions and comments.
