Called Meeting
Euless City Council
April 10, 1971
CALL. TO ORDER
Mayor A. C. Krause called the meeting
to order at 7:20 P.M. in the Council Chambers of Euless City Hall, with
the following Councilmen in attendance: Messrs. Dan Shull, Harold Copher
and Dwayne Wilcox. (Absent: Councilmen Frank Douglass and Don R. Warren.)
Also present were City Manager C. J.
Griggs and City Secretary Vada Ferris.
CANVASS CF ELECTION BALLOTS
Mayor Krause announced this meeting is
for the purpose of canvassing the ballots cast in the Municipal Election
held on this date for the purpose of electing a Mayor and two Councilmen
(Places Two and Four).
Mrs. Reba Cromer, Election Judge, pre-
sented a tabulation of votes and announced that one hundred, fifty -four
(154) ballots were cast. Mrs. Cromer read the results of the election,
as follows:

Harold Copher (Incumbent) 154

Councilman Shull moved to accept the
tabulation of votes as presented by the Elect ion Judge and declare A, C.
Krause re- elected to the office of Mayor, Harold Copher re- elected Council-
man, Place Two, and J. Dwayne Wilcox re- elected Councilman, Place Four,
for a period of two (2) years.
Councilman Copher seconded the motion,
and the vote is as follows:
Ayes: Councilmen Shull, Copher, Wilcox and Mayor Krause
Nays: None
Mayor Krause declared the motion carried and expressed appreciation to
Mrs. Cromer and other election officials for their assistance.
ADJOURNMENT
journed at 7:30 P.M.
