CALL TO ORDER
207.
The regular meeting of the Euless City
Council was called to order at SM P. M. in the Council Chambers of Euless
City Hall, with Mayor A. C. Krause presiding. Members present were Council-
men Frank Douglass, Harold Copher, Don Warren, Dan Shull, and Dwayne Wilcox.
Also present were City Manager C. J.
Griggs, City Secretary Vada Ferris, City Attorney James Cribbs, City
Engineer B i l l Ratliff, and Public Works Director John Bayuk.

APPROVAL CF MINUTES
Minutes of the Regular Meeting dated
March 28, 1972 were approved as written.
ORDINANCE NO. 423 - SECOND AND FINAL READING:
APPROVING BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENT WITH CITY OF HURST
AT S. H. UN BETWEEN RAIDER DR. AND SOTOGRANDE -BLVD.
Councilman Warren moved to approve
second and final reading of Ordinance No. 423.
Councilman Wilcox seconded the motion
and the vote i s as follows:
Ayes: Councilmen Warren, Wilcox, Shull, Douglass, and Copher
Nays: None
Mayor Krause declared the motion carried.

FIRST READING: ORDINANCE DEANNEX I NG PROPERTY
PURSUANT TO BOUNDARY LINE AGREEMENT VVITH CITY OF HURST
Councilman Copher moved t o' approve
first reading of Ordinance as presented.
Councilman Douglass seconded the motion
and the vote i s as follows:
Ayes: Councilmen Copher, Douglass, Warren, Shull, and Wilcox
Nays: None
Mayor Krause declared the motion carried.
RECOGNITION OF TEXAS WESLEYAN
COLLEGE PROFESSOR AND STUDENTS
Mayor Krause recognized and welcomed
Texas Wesleyan College Professor Earl Brown and students who are conducting
a Community Social Analysis in -the City of Euless.

APPRECIATION TO RETIRING COUNCILMEN
i
Mayor Krause, on behalf on the Council,
expressed appreciation to Councilmen Don Warren and Dan Shull for their years
of service on the City Council.
OATH ADMINISTERED TO COUNCILMEN HAROLD
SWLIELS AND DARREL BENSON
City Attorney James Cribbs administered
the oath of Office to newly elected Councilmen Harold Samuels, Place Three,
and Darrel Benson, Place Five.
Messrs. Samuels and Benson were seated
at the Council table.
VI.
DISCUSSION OF FUTURE BOND ISSUE
Councilman Wilcox stated he wants the
City Council to plan a bond program for the fall of 1972.
Mayor Krause stated he plans to appoint
Councilmen to plan certain sections of the bond issue. Also, he proposes
charter amendments and a follow -up of the "Goals for Euless ".

APRIL 22, 1972 RUN -OFF ELECTION - PLACE ONE
Councilman Douglass recognized h i s
opponent in Place One, Mr. B i I I Dunn, and called attention to the run -off
election for Place One to be held April 22, 1972. Councilman Douglass
stated t h a t a l l candidates in the April 8th City election should be
reminded to remove campaign signs throughout the City.
