Euless City Council
April 22, 1972
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Pro Tem Frank Douglass called the
meeting to order at 7 :45 P. M. in the Euless City Hall Council Chambers, stating
that the meeting is called to consider votes cast in the municipal run -off
election held this date. Present were Councilmen Harold Samuels, Dwayne Wilcox,
Harold Copher and Darrel Benson. (Absent was Mayor A. C. Krause.)
Also present was City Secretary Vada Ferris.
ACCEPTANCE OF ELECTION RETURNS.
MUNICIPAL RUN -OFF ELECTION. PLACE ONE
At the request of Nk. W. W. Cromer, Election
Judge, the City Secretary, Mrs. Vada Ferris, read the results of the run -off
election for Council, Place One:
Eight Hundred and Five (805) votes were cast as follows:
Bill Dunn 421
Frank E. Douglass 384
(Five (5) ballots were unmarked for either candidate.)
Councilman Copher moved to accept the
election results and declare Mr. Bill Dunn duly elected as Councilman Place One.
Councilman Samuels seconded the motion
and the vote is as follows:
Ayes: Councilmen Copher, Samuels, Benson, Wilcox, and
Mayor Pro Tem Douglass
Nays: None
Mayor Pro Tem Douglass declared the motion carried.
Mayor Pro Tem Douglass extended congratula-
tions and best wishes to Mr. Dunn. 1-b also thanked Mr. Cromer and the election
clerks.

The meeting adjourned at 7:50 P. M.
