Euless City Council
February 28, 1955
The Council met in special session February
2 8 , 1955, at 7:30 p.m. Present were Mayor Pro -Tern Ernest M i I I i ca n and
Councilmen M . L . Anders, A. E. T i l l e r y , W. H. Fuller, and J. S. Anderson.
Also attending the meeting as guests of the Council were Mr. H. H. Fuller
and Attorney George P. Gleeson.
Minutes of the previous meeting on February
7, 1955, were read and unanimously approved.
Mr. H. H. Fuller discussed with the Council
the problem he has in getting utilities to some houses he is moving to off
street lots. It was agreed that he would prepare a plat of the property,
with proper dedication, and present this to the Council at a later date.
In keeping with the anticipated growth
and development of the City in the near future, the Council invited Attorney
Gleeson to this meeting in order that he might advise us as to the City's
legal needs in matters of health, sanitation, building restrictions, zoning,
etc.
After a lengthy discussion, it was agreed
that Attorney Gleeson would prepare a series of ordinances coverning the
various items under consideration and get them to the Council as soon as
possible.
The meeting adjourned at 9:45 p..m.
