Euless City Council
August 3, 1974
CALL 10 ORDER
Mayor Pro Tem Harold Samuels called
the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. in the Euless City ,Hall Council Room with
the following Council members present: Mrs. Willie Mae McCormick, and
Mr. Wayne Wright. (Absent: Mayor A. C. Krause and Mr. Harold Copher.)
Also present were City Manager C. J.
Griggs and City Secretary Vada Ferris.
Mr. Samuels announced that this meeting
was called to canvass the ballots cast in the run -off election held this
date to elect a Council Person to Place Five. However, due to the lack
of a quorum, the Council is unable to canvass the ballots at this time.
He announced the results of the election as follows:
Total votes cast - 376
Raymond J. Ozebek - 225
Don R. Warren - 151
Mayor Pro Tem Samuels announced that
the Council w i l l canvass the ballots and administer the oath of office to
the new Council member at the regular meeting on August 13, 1974•
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 7 :15 p.m.
