Euless City Council
April 5, 1975
CALL TO ORDER
The called meeting of the Euless City
Council was called to order at 7:20 P. M. in the Council Chamber of
Euless City Hall by Mayor Pro Tem Samuels. Members present were Mrs.
W i l l i e Mx McCormick, Messrs. Ray Ozebek, Harold Samuels, and Harold
Copher. (Absent: Mr. Wayne Wright, and Mayor A. C. Krause.)
Mayor Pro Tem Samuels stated that he
was going to turn the meeting over to Councilman Harold Copher, since
he was a candidate for the office of Mayor.
Also present were City Manager W. M.
Sustaire, and City Secretary Della Houy.
VISITORS
Visitors present were as follows:

CANVASS ELECTION BALLOT
Councilman Copher announced thi s meeting
was called for the purpose of canvassing the ballots cast in the Municipal
Election held this date for the purpose of electing a Mayor and Council -
person for Place 2 and Place 4.
Mr. W. W. Cromer, Election Judge, announced
that 1,733 ballots were cast, and the election results are as follows:

Mr. Ozebek moved to accept the tabulation
of votes as presented by Mr. W. W. Cromer, and declare Mr. Charles Hunt
elected to Place Two, and Mrs. McCormick elected to Place Four for a
period of two (2) years.
Mrs. McCormick seconded the motion and
the vote is as follows:
Ayes: Mr. Ozebek, Mrs. McCormick, Mr. Samuels, and Mr. Copher
Nays: None
Councilman Copher declared the motion
carried.
Mrs. McCormick moved to set April 19, 1975
as the date for a run —off election for the Mayor's seat.
Mr. Ozebek seconded the motion and the
vote is as follows:
Ayes: Mrs. McCormick, Mr. Ozebek, Mr. Copher, and Mr. Samuels.
Nays: None
Councilman Copher declared the motion
carried, and expressed his appreciation to the Election Officials.
