Euless City Council
April 3, 1976
CALL TO ORDER
The called meeting of the Euless
City Council was called to order at 7:35 P. M., in the Council Chambers
of Euless City Hall by Mayor Harold D. Samuels. Members present were
Mrs. Willie Mae McCormick, Messrs. Ray Ozebek, Charles Hunt and Glenn
Walker. (Absent was Mr. Wayne Wright.)
Also present were City Manager W. M.
Sustaire and City Secretary Della Houy.

CANVASS OF ELECTION BALLOTS
Mayor Samuels announced this meeting
is for the prupose of canvassing the ballots cast in the Municipal Election
held on this date for the purpose of electing three Councilpersons (Places
One, Three and Five).
Mr. Alton Ray, Election Judge, presented
the tabulation of the votes to Mayor Samuels, and Mayor Samuels read the
results of the election, as follows, with a total of seven hundred, fourteen
ballots cast:

Mr. Hunt moved to accept the tabulation
of votes as presented by the Election Judge and declare Robert M. Pippin
elected Councilman, Place One, Glenn Walker re- elected Councilman, Place
Three, and Ray Ozebek re- elected Councilman Place Five, for a period of
two (2) years.
Mrs. McCormick seconded the motion and
the vote is as follows:
Ayes: Mr. Hunt, Mrs. McCormick, Messrs. Ozebek and Walker
Nays: None
Mayor Samuels declared the motion
carried.
(All documents pertaining to the election are on file in the Office of
City Secretary.)
ADJOURNMENT
adjourned at 7 :40 P.M,
