BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
January 13, 1965
CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Board of
Adjustment was called to order by the Chairman, Paul Gates at 7:30 P.M.
Members in attendance were: Messrs. Walter Hicks, Herger Massey and Herschel
Morgan. Not present, Robert Baker.
Also present, Jack Bullard, City
Inspector.
Visitors present were Mr. and Mrs. J. R.
Duckett.
OLD BUSINESS
Case #5 - J. R. Duckett and Lee
Strickland - Request for Used Car Lot on Tract 111, Abstract 711, J. P.
Halford Survey. (North Main) Mr. Duckett appeared as a proponent of
the request.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned by general
consent of the members.

EXECUTIVE SESSION OF THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT - January 13, 1965
CALL: TO ORDER
The executive session of the Board of Adjust-
ment was called to order by the Chairman, Paul Gates. Members in attendance were:
Messrs. Walter Hicks, Herger Massey and Herschel Moegan. Not present, Robert Baker.
OLD BUSINESS
A. Public Hearing - Lee Strickland - Used Car Lot on Tract 111, Abstract
711, J. P. Halford Survey. After discussion, a motion was made to
approve the non-conforming use of the land, (Tract 111, Abstract 711,
J. P. Halford Survey) The vote as follows: Three ayes and one nay
aye - Paul Gates
aye - Herger Massey
aye - Walter Hicks
Nay - Herschel Morgan
The motion did not carry (since it takes four votes to pass). Request denied.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned by general consent
of the members. at 8:00 P.M.
