HomeMy WebLinkAbout1964-06-10 41, 01111? 4010 Regular Meeting of the Board of Adjustment June 10, 1964 CALL TO ORDER The Board of Adjustment met at the City Hall at 7:30 p.m. Board Members present were: Robert Baker, Paul Gates, Herger Massey, Walter Hicks, Herschel Morgan was not present. Also present were: Jack Bullard, City Inspector. Visitors present were: Mr, and Mrs. J. R. Duckett. The minutes were recorded by Sandra Baker. OLD BUSINESS - J. R. Duckett - request for permit for fruit stand I, It was noted the ground was approved for Mr. J. R, Duckett, property zoned for business on Tuesday night, June 9, 1964. (Regular meeting of the Euless City Council) A motion was made by Herger Massey to set the temporary building 65 feet back from the center of North Main. The building will be removed at the end of 90 days from date. Robert Baker seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. NEW BUSINESS I� A motion was made by Walter Hicks to establish a policy of making decisions in executive sessions, Rob- ert Baker seconded the motion, The motion carried unanimously. II. The board agreed to adopt forms 1,2,3 and 4, (applications and check list) III. Walter Hicks made a motion that requirements be set forth for filing fees five days or more prior to the regular meeting date of the Board of Adjustment. Herger Mas- sey seconed the motion. The motion carried unanimously. IV. Herger Massey made a motion to no- tify applicants of decisions of the Board five days following the regular meeting of the Board. Robert Baker seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. V, Walter Hicks made a motion that all applications requiring a public hearing filed 15 days or more prior to the regular stated meeting of the Board shall automatical- ly have the public hearing called by the City Inspector. Applica- tions filed less than 15 days prior to the next regular meeting of the Board shall be called at next regular meeting. Mr. Herger Mas sey seconded the motion. A fifteen ($15.00) Dollar filing fee for all applications 2, Applications shall be filed five (5) days or more prior to regular Board Meeting. 3. Forms 1,2,3 and 4 Adopted. 4. All decisions of the Board to be made in executive sessions. 5. Formal decision will be given to applicant within five days after regular meeting at which Board has received all requested informa- tion. 6. All applications requiring a public hearing filed 15 days or more prior to the regular stated meeting of the Board shall automatically have the public hearing called by the City Inspector.
