Regular Meeting
of the
Board of Adjustments
January 3, 1967
CALL TO ORDER I .
The meeting of the Board of Adjustments was called to order by
Chairman Glenn Walker.
The following members were present: Messrs. Glenn Walker, Bob Baker,
Dick Leggett and Henry Uselton.
Also present, was Jack Bullard, City Inspector.
Visitors present: Mr. D. F. Pittman.
NEW BUSINESS II .
A. Consideration of Building Permit request of Mr. D. F. Pittman, for an ad-
dition to 183 Motel -- addition to be located at the rear of the West side
of his property, which was not previously zoned commercial .
Jack Bullard, City Inspector, suggested that the Board go to the site
of property, for which the building permit is requested and check the drainage.
Mr. Bob Baker stated that he is familiar with the property in question
and that he is satisfied with the drainage.
Mr. Henry Uselton stated that he is in favor of Mr. Pittman making any
necessary changes to take proper care of any drainage problem which might arise after
completion of the buildings.
The Public Hearing was closed, and all visitors were dismissed.
EXECUTIVE MEETING III .
The Executive Meeting of the Board of Adjustments was called to order
by Chairman Glenn Walker
Mr. Bob Baker made the motion to approve the Building Permit, as requested
by Mr. Pittman. Mr. Dick Leggett seconded the motion, and the vote it as follows:
Ayes: Messrs. Bob Baker, Dick Leggett, Henry Uselton and Glenn Walker.
Nays: None
Chairman Walker declared the motion carried.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS IV.
This being the first meeting of the year, it was decided to elect new
officers.
The motion to elect Glenn Walker as Chairman and Bob Baker as Secretary
was made by Mr. Henry Uselton. Mr. Dick Leggett seconded the motion, and the vote
was unanimous.
