Zoning Board of Adjustments
April 11 , 1973
CALL TO ORDER
Vice Chairman Wayne Widner called the
meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustments to order at 8:05 P. M. in
the Council Chambers of the Euless City Hall with the following present:
Messrs. Carroll Davis, James Banks, and Derrell Sartor.
Also present were Jack Bullard, City
Inspector.
VISITORS
Visitors present were: Messrs. Tommy
Thompson, D. D. Gross, and Glen D. Perry; Mesdms. Barbara Girouard, Helen
Harvey, Mary Jo Gross, and Mary A. Perry.
PUBLIC HEARING - BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
CASE NO. 24, REQUEST OF MR. DON
WOOLDRIDGE, NORTEX BUILDERS, FOR
WAIVER OF BUILDING LINE SET BACK.
Vice Chairman Widner recognized Mr.
Tommy Thompson representing Mr. Don Wooldridge who stated that he is
requesting a waiver of the building line set back requirements, side
lot of Lot 20 RI , Block 9, Oakcrest Addition. This property is located
on the Northwest corner of Gopher Court and Dickey Drive. Mr. .Thompson
stated that a mistake had been made in locating the house because of
the residential street, Dickey Drive, being sixty-feet wide and the curb
and gutter installed thirty-one feet back to back as though the street_
dedication was fifty feet. This error was not discovered until the
house was completed and a final survey was made. He stated that the
house is as -far back from the curb as any residential house is required
to be and does not obstruct the view from the corner.
Vice Chariman Widner inquired if there
opponents or proponents present. There being none, he declared the
Public Hearing closed.
• Mr. Banks moved to approve the request
as submitted.
• Mr. Hobbs seconded the motion and the
vote is as follows:
Ayes: Messrs. Banks, Hobbs, Davis , and Widner.
Nays: None

Vice Chairman Widner declared the motion
carried.
