Chairman Mike McGehee called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
DISPOSITION OF THE MINUTES: The Chairman asked for a motion to be me to accept the minutes
seconded the
June 6, 2013 meeting. Allan Gibbs made the motion to accept t he minutes and Chr
motion.
WELCOME VISITORS: Chairman Mike McGehee welcomed all of the visitors to the meeting.
REPORT FROM THE LIBRARY ADMINISTRATOR:
Sherry Knight introduced Dale Harwell, Director of Administrative Services. Dale joined the City of Euless
from the City of Hurst. The Library, IS and Human Resources will be reporting to Dale.
Stats continue to look good.
Sherry reported to the board that Sara Hickman will be performing at the Texas Star on Monday, September 9th

at 7:00pm.
The library will begin offering Zinio to our patrons. Zinio offers o the digital magazines. We currently have about
50 magazines to offer. Sherry presented a Zinio demonstration
DISCUSSIONS:
1. Mike McGehee announced that the gift presentation for Kate Lyon has been postponed until the Euless
Library Foundation Annual Meeting in September.
2. Mike McGehee gave an update to the board on the tile project.
3. Chris McAllister thanked the board for the card ction of Sherry Knight as the Library Ad inistrator.
4. The library board unanimously supports the selection
CITIZEN INPUT:
1. LuAnn Portugal commented on the positive comments she heard about the library at a recent city event.

ADJOURNMENT:
The Chairman asked for a motion to adjourn. The motion was made by Allan Gibbs and seconded by
Beverly Leake. The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
