OF THE
PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION
September 1, 1964
CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Planning
& Zoning Commission was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by the chairman,
Edward Smith, The following members were present: Bert Heyl, J. A.
Horton, Henry Uselton. Not present, LaVern Lee, secretary. (Vacation)
Also present, Fannie Gorman, record-
ing secretary.
APPROVAL OP MINUTES
The minutes of the previous meeting
were read by the chairman in the absence of the secretary. The minutes
were approved as read.
OLD BUSINESS
a. Section 8, Wilshire Village, Lots
8 thru 14, Block 14; Lots 17 thru 24, Block 15; Blocks 16 and 17;
Lots 1 thru 11 and 21 thru 23, Block 18 and lots 7 thru 11, Block 20
was presented to the Commission for final approval with recommendations
by the Engineers, Reaves, Gregory & Knowlton as contained in letter
dated September 1, 1964 and hereby made a part of the minutes.
After discussion Bert Heyl made a motion to approve the plat pending
compliance with the provisions of the Engineers. The motion was second-
ed by Henry Uselton. The motion passed unanimously.
b. Public Hearing- First Baptist Church-
request for rezoning. There were no proponents or opponents to the
request for rezoning. Bert Hey' made a motion to approve the request
for rezoning. The motion was seconded by J. A. Horton, The motion
passed unanimously. (Resolution No. 19)
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 8:00
p.m, by general consent of the members.
