Regular Meeting
of the
Planning & Zoning Commission
June 16, 1964
CALL TO ORDER
The reg"lar meeting of the Planning
and Zoning Commission was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by the Co-chair
man, Henry Uselton, in the absence of the chairman, Edward Smith. The
following members were in attendance: Bery Heyl and LaVern Lee.
Also present were Bill Ratliff, City
Engineer and Fannie Gorman.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of the previous meeting
were read by the Secretary, LaVern Lee. The minutes were approved as
read.
REQUEST FOR REZONING
I. Zoning Case #128 - Andrew Himes
A request for rezoning 29' feet of property from "A" Residential to
Local Business on North Main Street. CA part of the tract zoned for
300 ft. in Strip Zoning Case #125.) The Case was reviewed by the Com-
mission and a Public Hearing was set for July 7, 1964.
II. Zoning Case #129 - First Baptist
Church
A quest for rezoning property adjacent to that proposed zoned "Local
Business" by Zoning Case #125, as entered in "EXHIBIT A". The Commis-
sion reviewed the Case and set a Public Hearing date for July 7, 1964.
III. Zoning Case #130 - Searcy Dobkins
A request for rezoning property as entered in "Exhibit A", adjacent to
that proposed zoned from "A" Residential to "C" Commercial by Zoning
Case #125. The Case was reviewed and a Public Hearing date set for
July 7, 1964.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
by general consent of the members.
