Planning and Zoning Commission
May 19, 1964
CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Plan-
ning and Zoning Commission was *lied to order at 7:30 p.m. by
Henry Uselton, co-chairman in the absence of the chairman, Ed
Smith, Members present were: LaVern Lee, Bert Heyl and Henry Usel-
ton.
Also present were Bill Ratliff, City
Engineer and Fannie Gorman.
PRESENTATION OF MINUTES
The minutes of the May 5, 1964 meeting
were presented for approval by the secretary. The minutes were approved
by general consent.
VISITORS
Visitors in attendance were: Fred Ball,
Andrew Himes, Doc Hyde and Harold E. Richards.
I.
REQUEST FOR STREET OPENING
Mr. Fred Ball appeared- before the
Commission to present a question on the opening of Canyon Ridge Drive
in Wilshire Village through his property. It is his request that the
Commission consider doing so. After discussion it was decided to have
the City Engineers look into the matter and advise the Commission on
their findings. Motion made by Bert Heyl, seconded by LaVern Lee.
Passed unanimously.
II.
MORRISDALE ADDITION
Bill Ratliff, City Engineer, and the
Commission considered the request for approval of revised plat to Mor-
risdale Estates. A question arose to the effect that the final plat
did not bear any signatures and Mr. Ratliff stated he would check with
the County Court House records to see if the plat had been recorded.
Bert Heyl made a motion to approve the revised plat if the final plat
is on file. If the final plat is not filed, the Commission will take no
action pending compliance with the letter submitted to the May 5, meeting
of the Planning and Zoning and made a part of the minutes. The motion was
seconded by LaVern Lee.
OTHER ACTION

Mr. Andrew Himes appeared before the
Commission to request the consideration of 29 feet of property not in-
cluded in the Strip Zoning (300 ft.) on North Main. His request was for
including this footage in the present case #125. The chairman requested
the minutes reflect Mr. Jack Bullard to give an opinion on the matter and
firâ–º report it to the Commission
The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
by consent of the membership.
