Members present were: Frank Douglass, Alter Horton, Bert Heyl, and Henry Uselton, Jr. Visitors present were: John L. Hendry III, Ned A Finney, John T, Dickerson, Jr., L.P. Bishop, R.W. Clowers, F.O. Heffley, Jack W. Browne, Roy F. Braswell, Warren Fuller, W.W. McCormick and E.N. Mumford, Jr. 1, PUBLIC HEARING Zoning Case #112 was considered on request of W.W. Fuller to change the zoning designation on 1,896 acre tract of land in the J.P. Halford Survey, facing on North Main Street, from residential tolocal business. Motion by Bert Heyl, second by Alter Horton to approve this request. Motion carried. 2. PUBLIC HEARING Consideration of Zoning Case #113, on request of Tri-Cities Dev, Corp, to change the zoning designation on a part of Tract "A", Blk. 16, Oakwood Terrace North, 1st Filing, from residential to commercial. Motion by Bert Heyl, second by Alter Horton to approve request. Motion carried. A fence is to be built between the commercial area and the existing residences on Commerce Drive, 3. Consideration of Zoning Case #116- request of Trinity Investment Company to change the zoning designation on 5.64 acres of land at the southeast corner of Highway #157 and Harwood Road, from residential to commercial. Motion by Alter Horton, second by Bert Hey]. to set the date, January 21, 1964, for a Public Hearing on the above rezoning request. Motion carried. 4. Motion by Alter Horton, second by Bert Hey' to table Uncle Johns Ranchette Addition since the representative was not present. Motion carried. Mr. R.W. Clowers, F.O. Heffley, Jack Browne and W.W. McCormick were here to discuss the Uncle Johns Ranchette. These men were here interested in what happens to this tract. Meeting adjourned at 9:15 Slaw Minutes approved.
