HomeMy WebLinkAbout1963-04-16 April 16, 1963 A Regular Meeting of the City Planning & Zoning Commission. Present were: Warren Fuller, J.A. Horton, Henry Uselton, Jr. Ed Smith, and Frank Douglass. 1. A Public Hearing was held on the re-zoning request of Mr. Jack Apwisch, per resolution # 10. Interested parties appearing were: Mr. & Mrs. Harrison C. Thomas, Leon Mullinax, Mr. & Mrs. Paul R. Mauldin, Mrs. Glen Hardy, R.C. Baton, J.H. Stone, and T.R. Carruth. Motion by Mr. Smith, second by Mr. Uselton adopting Resolution # 13, recommending to the City Council approval of rezoning request, Case # 105, as requested by Mr. Apwisch. Four Commission members voted in favor of this motion, one Commission member, Mr. Frank Douglass, abstained. Motion carried. 2. Motion by Mr. Douglass, second by Mr. Horton recommending approval of Oakwood Terrace North, 2nd Filing as presented by Bill Pasteur and approved on preliminary plat. Vote in favor was unanimous. 3. Mr. Bill Pasteur requested approval of the Planning& Zoning Commission to build a house on Lot 2 Block 11, Oakwood Terrace West, 2nd Filing, corner of Simmons Drive & Bayless Drive, with a 15' setback on Bayless Drive rather than the usual 25' setback from the front building line. The Commission advised Mr. Pasteur to bring a revised lot plat showing proposed set back line, with approval of City Attorney. 4. Motion by Mr. Douglass, second by Mr. Horton recommending approval of Morrisdale Estates, 2nd Filing as presented by Paul Huffhines and approved by City Engineer. Vote in favor was unanimous.
