Regular meeting of Planning & Zoning Commission. Request of Herman Smith
for re-zoning 28 acres more or less out of the A.M. Downing Survey, Abet. # 415
as recorded in Vol. 217, page 426 part of Wilshire Village development.
Members present were: Warren Fuller, Henry Uselton, Jr. and Prank Douglas.
Visitors present: H.M. Huffman, A.T. Sellers and W.M. Strelsky.
Interested parties present: Herman Smith, Mr. Hill, and B.J. Reaves.
The Board recommended proposed re-zoning of 28 acres, more or less, on
condition that shopping center, copy attached, as presented by Herman Smith,
be made part of re-zoning ordinance and subject to the following:(See Back
of Resolution No. 2.)
Motion by Henry Uselton, Jr., second by Frank Douglass , approve and
adopt Resolution No. 1, calling a public hearing on the request of Macie
Austin to re-zone one acre of land out of the John Groves Survey in
Tarrant County to "B" Local Business. Vote in favor was unanimous. Public
Hearing to be held July 3, 1962.
