HomeMy WebLinkAbout1962-01-02 January 2, 1962 A special called meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission of Euless, Texas was held on January 2, 1962 at 7 :00 PM. Those of the Commission present were : Warren Fuller, Chairman, Dan Peters, Secretary, J.A. Horton and Ed Smith. I The Commission held public hearing, after due notice by publication, on proposed amendment of Zoning Ordinance No. 33, Sections 8 and 12, to require a minimum lot width of 65 feet at the front building line, and, that no dwelling be constructed in a single-family dwelling district with less that 1050 square feet in dwelling space, exclusive of porches, breezeways and garages. was Evidence and argument/ presented by Mr. Bob Brady from the public in support of leaving Mai Sections 8 and 12 of Ordinance No. 33 as tt they presently are. II Motion was made by Ed Smith, seconded by J.A. Horton, that Sections 8 and 12 of Ordinance No. 33 remain as they are and not be amended as proposed; but, with recommendation that any acceleration of the minimum standards by imposed, if deemed necessary, by the Planning and Zoning Commission and/or City Council at the time any future subdivision plats are submitted for consideration and approval.
