The regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission of Euless,
Texas was held on February 14, 1961 at 7 :ooPM. Those of the Commission
present were : Warren Fuller, Chairman, Dan Peters, Secretary, J.A.Horton
and All Simmons .
I
The Commission considered petition of L. Earle Brown, owner, for
change of Zoning Designation from District "A" Residential to District "C"
Commercial of 2 tracts of land being :
(a) 13.306 acres of land out of the John Groves Survey, Abst. 599
(b ) 14.23 acres of land out of the John Groves Survey, Abst . 599,
both of which tracts are described by metes and bounds respectively in
Mr. Brown' s petition.
Motion made by J. A. Horton, seconded by Al Simmons that the zoning
change as requested by L. Earle Brown be approved. All members of he
Commission present voted in favor.

The Commission considered preliminary plat of We#tSwood Village,
Section Two as shown on plat submitted by Mr. Leon J. Levitt, Registered
Civil Engineer, for Dalmin Development Corp.
Motion made by Dan Peters, seconded by Al 1mm Simmons that the plat
by approved, provided that the drainage easement between Lots 11 and 12
be worked out properly and that the Street name for Salem Drive (as shown
on plat ) be changed to coincide and be the same as a continuation of the
existing street. All members present voted in favor.

The Commission considered final plat of Oakwood Terrace Addition
Fourth Filing submitted by David C . Moak for Tri-Cities Development Corp.
Motion was made by Dan Peters, seconded by J.A. Horton to approve the
plat. All members present voted in favor.
IV
The Commission considered Preliminary Plat of Oakwood Terrace East
0Addition, 2nd Section submitted by Mr. W.G. Douglas for Tri-Cities Dev.Corp.
Motion made by J.A. Horton, seconded by Al Simmons to approve the Plat
as submitted. All members present voted in favor of it.

The Commission considered Final Plat on 54 lots of Wilshire Village
Addition as shown on plat submitted by Herman Smith. H
Motion made by J.A.Horton,seconded by Dan Peters to approve said plat .
All members present voted in favor of it .
