The regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission of
Euless, Texas was held on July 12, 1960
I
Those of the Commission present were: Warren Fuller, Chairman,
Dan Peters, Secretary, J. A. Horton and M.E. Merrill.

The Commission considered request of Roy F. Braswell, owner of
Lot 24, Block 1, Euless Gardens Addition to Euless for change of
zoning designation from District "A" Single Family Dwelling to
District "B" Local Business.

Motion was made by M.E. Merrill, seconded by J.A. Horton to approve
the zoning request of Mr. Braswell. All members present voted in
favor of the zoning request.
IV
The Commission considered Preliminary Study and Plan for Subdivision
of 148 acres of land, more or less out the J.M. Downing and the
T. Jasper Surveys into 365 residential, with 10 acres of land set
aside for a future school site; and, request for Zoning Designation
of 28 acres of land out of the J.M. Downing Survey out of said 148
acre tract of land, fronting on State Hi-Way 183 with dimensions of
1175 ft. by 1363.6 ft. by 1080.8 ft. by 906.7 ft to Commercial
District "C"; all as shown by Plat, dated May, 1960 by J.R. Dunaway,
Surveyor as submitted to the Commission by Mr. Herman Smith.

Motion was made by Dan Peters, seconded by M.E.Merrill to approve
the Preliminary Plan, and, to approve the Zoning Designation on the
28 acres of land to Commercial District "C". All members present
voted in Favor of the motion.

Not further business to consider the meeting was adjourned.
