REGULAR MEETING
OF THE
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
May 3, 1966
I.
CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning
Commission of the City of Euless was called to order by the Chairman,
Len Weber, at 7:35 p. m. May 3, 1966. Members of the board present
were: Messrs., LaVern Lee, Don Hastings, Len Weber, and Paul Gates.
Also present were Messrs. , Jack Bullard, City
Inspector and Kenneth English, Consulting Engineer, (Gregory, Knowlton,
& Ratliff).
Visitors in attendance for the meeting were Messrs. ,
Z. L. Bozeman, R. L. Bozeman, Vern Roberts, Robert F. Spies, and M. W.
Simmons. Mrs. M. W. Simmons was also present.
II.
PRESENTATION OF MINUTES
The minutes of the previous meeting of April 19,
1966 were read by the Secretary, LaVern Lee. As there were no
additions or corrections to the minutes the Chairman declared them
approved as read.
III.
OLD BUSINESS:
Public Hearing - Zoning Case #150 - Z. L. Bozeman -
Change of zoning from "A" Residential to "C" Commercial - a tract of
land out of the A. J. Huitt Survey.
Mr. Z. L. Bozeman came before the commission and
described the location of the tract of land, for which he is requesting
a zoning change, as it is related to other Commercial and Residential
property in the area.
After some discussion by the commission, Don Hastings
madaa motion to recommend a change in the zoning of this tract of land
as requested by Mr. Bozeman.

Paul Gates second the motion and the votes were as
follows:
Ayes: Messrs. Gates, Hastings, Lee
Nays: None.
The Chairman on behalf of the commission recommends
to the council that Zoning Case #150 - Z. L. Bozeman - a tract of land
out of the A. J. Huitt Survey be rezoned from "A" Residential to
"C" Commercial.
IV.
NEW BUSINESS
Final Plat Green Hills Park Addition (Fourth Filing)
As the engineers for the Developers of Green Hills
Park had failed to submitt the plats of that area to the commission,
there could be no study made and therefore the commission could take
no action on the request for plat approval.
V.
OTHER BUSINESS
Advisory Council Appointee.
A motion was made by Paul Gates and second by Don
Hastings, that LaVern Lee be recommended to the City Council as an
appointee to the Northeast Cities Advisory Council.
The vote was as follows;
Ayes: Messrs. Gates, Weber, Hastings.
Nays; None.
The Chairman declared the motion carried.
VI.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 8:25 p. m. by general
consent of the members.
