Planning & Zoning Commission
March 1, 1966
CALL TO ORDER I.
The regular meeting of the Planning & Zoning Commission
was called to order by the Chairman, Henry Uselton, at 7:30 p.m. The follow-
ing members were in attendance: Messrs. LaVern Lee and Don Hastings, Not
present, Messrs. Bert Hey]. and Len Weber.
Also present, Jack Bullard, City Inspector.
Visitors present were Messrs. Jimmy Payton and Bill Byers.
PRESENTATION OF MINUTES II.
The minutes of the prevloius meeting were read by the
secretary. The minutes were approved as read.
NEW BUSINESS III.
Commercial Permit #32 Jimmy C. Payton - Plans and Specifications - plot
plan . Tract - k-Crestmoor Addit;.on.
The property, tract 4C, had previously been zoned Commercial at the time
Highway#183 was strip zoned for a distance of 300 feet parallel to the
Highway, Mr, Payton was requesting a permit for a 45 x 94 foot building
on the property. It was noted that parking facilities for 18 cars had
been provided with adequate space for future parking expansion.
According to the plans presented by Mr. Payton there is allowance for a
ten foot alley-way on the East end of the building to allow for easier
access to the area for service purposes.
After discussion, Don Hastings made a motion that the building permit
be recommended for approval. LaVern Lee seconded the motion; the vote
as follows:
ayes Lee, Uselton & Hastings
nay - None
The Chairman declared the motion carried.

The meeting was adjourned by general consent of the
