The regular meeting of the Planning & Zoning Commission fay was called to order by the Chairman, Henry Uselton. The foliowing'membera. were in attendance; Messrs. Don Hastings, Len Weber, Not present, Messrs, Bert Heyl and LaVern Lee. Also present, Jack Bullard, 'City Inspector and Kenneth English, engineer, Gregory, Knowlton & Ratliff, Visitors present were Messrs. Warren Fuller, Bill Pasteur and C, W. Bell, PRESENTATION CF MINUTES II. The Minutes of the previous meeting were read by Kay Schonerstedt in the absence of the Secretary. The minutes were approved as read, OLD BUSINESS III. Zoning Case #120•,A S. W, Mills - topographical map ref,; P&Z Minutes - March 17, 104; CC Minutes May 26, 1964, Mr, Warren Fuller, representing S, W, Mills, stated that due to the recent inclement weather, Mr. David Moak had been unable to prepare a topograph- ical map of the area; that it would be ready in a few days and be present- ed to the City Engineers for their study and recommendation concerning the drainage problem on the property. Mr, Fuller further stated that Dr. Joe Burke (Park Center Hospital)"is planning-a hospital- on the site and desired 7i ruling at this time, so that construction can commence as soon as possible after a City Council ruling, Mr„-C„-14, Bell presented t plat of the hospital end-indicated approximate location of the buildings and the parking facilities After considerable discussion, Len Weher ide the following motion - the- Commission recommends that the case be passed to the City Council prvvid.- ed that the topo map is submitted also and complies with the recommenda- tion of the City Engineer. It if further noted that the developer will provide his portion of the required drainage easement and defray his part of the cost to bring the ditch to City specifications, The motion was seconded by Don Hastings; the vote was as follows: aye Uselton, Hastings and Weber nay none The Chairman declared the motion carried. -. t page 2 - P&Z Minutes - 2-1-66 NEW BUSINESS IV, Commercial Permit No, 31 - Humble Oil Company 4 Service Station - Tract 1I1 - A. J, Truitt, 211 North Main Street, Mr, Warren Fuller presented the request For a building permit for 4 a service station, adjacent to Spur 350 and facing North Main Street, He stated the permit w:u1d be a a:rvice station in the Fifty Thousand Dollar ($50,000.) category. After considerable dis ussion, Don Hastings, made a motion to recommend approval of the permit; motion seconded by Len Weber; vote as follows: aye - Weber, Uselton and Hastings nay - none The Chairman declared the motion carried, ADJOURNMENT V.
