CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Planning
and Zoning Commission was called to order by the Chairman, Edward Smith.
Members present were Messrs, LaVern Lee and Bert Heyl, Not present, Messrs.
Henry Uselton and J, A, Horton,
Also present, Mrs. Fannie Gorman, record
ing secretary.
Visitors present were Mr. G. W. Poteet,
Mrs, Betty Potthoff and Mr. D. P. Pittman,
PRESENTATION OF MINUTES
The minutes of the previous meeting
were approved as read.,
NEW BUSINESS
I.
A. Commercial Permit No. 14, G. W. Poteet - Request for building permit
at 901 West Euless Blvd, for a Dairy Mart, Mr, Poteet presented
plans for the building explaining the type of construction would be
brick-veneer with built up roof and floating foundation and would
contain 1600 sq, ft, A discussion followed concerning traffic
flow and parking space which was found to be adequate, LaVern Lee
made a motion to recommend approval of the request, The motion was
seconded by Bert Heyl. The motion carried unanimously.
B. Commercial Permit No 15 - D. F. Pittman - Request for add-on building
permit at the Highway 183 Motel, Mr. Pittman presented his request
for the permit which would enable him to complete the North end of
an open horseshoe of buildings, Traffic flow, side lot requirements
and type of construction was discussed and all requirements were met.
Bert Heyl made a motion to recommend approval of the request, LaVern
Lee seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
