PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION
November 17, 1964
CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Planning
& Zoning Commission was called to order by the chairman, Edward Smith.
Members present were J. A. Horton, LaVern Lee and Bert Hey'. Not pre-
sent, Henry Uselton.
Also present, Jack Bullard, City In-
spector and Fannie Gorman, recording secretary.
PRESENTATION OF MINUTES
The minutes of the previous meeting
were read by the secretary. The minutes were approved as read.
NEW BUSINESS
I.
A. Zoning Case #134 - Warren Fuller - Request for rezoning a tract
of land being approximately 23.4 acres out of the H. McCoy Survey,
from "A" Residential to "C" Commercial. Bert Heyl made a motion
to set a Public Hearing date for December 15, 1964. The motion
was seconded by LaVern Lee. The motion carried unanimously.
Planning & Zoning Resolution No. 24,
B. Commercial Permit #8 - Jack Apwisch - Request for building permit
for restaurant on Lot 1, Block 3, Euless Industrial Park, The
Chairman read an excerpt from the minutes of the regular Council
meeting, November 10, 1964, hereby made a part of the minutes.
LaVern Lee made a motion to recommend approval of the request.
The motion was seconded by J. A. Horton. The motion carried unan-
imously.
OTHER BUSINESS
The chairman noted that a sign on the
West City Limits, (Euless, Where the Best Begins), had been bent and asked
the City Inspector to investigate the matter, as there is apparently some
construction in the area and responsibility for the damage should be affix-
ed if possible.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
by general consent of the members.
