PLANNING & ZCNING CCNMISSION
October 20, 1964
CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Planning
and Zoning Commission was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Henry Uselton in
the absense of the chairman, Edward Smith. (Illness in famiy) The following
members were present, LaVern Lee, J. A. Horton. Not present, Edward Smith
and Bert Heyl.
Also present were Jack Bullard, City
Inspector and Fannie Gorman, corresponding secretary.
PRESENTATION OF MINUTES
The minutes of the previous meeting were
read by the secretary. A motion was made by LaVern Lee to correct the minutes
as follows: under NEW BUSINESS, item A, .Comnercial permit #3, the statement
reads, "will have an entry into the property from the motel" should be corrected
to read, "gill have an entry into the property from the apartment house", etc.
The motion was seconded by J. A. Horton. The motion carried unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS
I.
A. CCMNERCIAL PERMIT #4 Jack W, Knight .• double garage and storage at 1011
Highland Drive, Henry Uselton read the minutes of the City Council, October 13
1964, item VII, After discussion and upon recommendation of the City In-
spector, LaVern Lee made a motion to refer the permit back to the City Council
with a recommendation for approval, Mr, Knight has been asked to appear be-
fore the Council at that time.

ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned by ^eneral
consent of the members at R:00 p.m.
