February 20, 1968
CALL TO ORDER
The Regular Meeting of the Planning and
Zoning Commission was called to order in the Council Chambers of Euless City Hall
by Chairman Len Weber, at 7:30 P. M. , with the following members present: Messrs.
Jack Browne, Bill Tench, Richard Lande. (Absent: Mr. Don Hastings)
Also present was City Inspector Jack
Bullard.
VISITORS
Visitors in attendance were: Messrs. Ran
Holman, Brice Cook, Walter Elliott and Barton Wright.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Minutes of the previous meeting, dated
February 6, 1968, were approved as written.
PUBLIC HEARING, ZONING CASE NO. 174,
REZONING 9 ACRES ADJACENT TO SOTOGRANDE
DEVELOPMENT FROM "A" RESIDENTIAL TO "A-3"
MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLIdG, REQUESTED BY
MR. ROBERT S. FOLSOM
Chairman Weber recognized Mr. Ran Holman,
who stated that he represented Mr. Robert S. Folsom who requests the rezoning,
from "A" Residential to "A-3" Multiple Family Dwelling, of nine (9) acres adjacent
to the Sotogrande Development.
Mr. dolman presented a location plat of
the property in question and stated that the rezoning of this tract was requested,
in order to complete the planned development of Sotogrande Apartment Development.
Mr. Holman advised that his firm owns the property on the East, South and West of
the tract in question, and that the rezoning of this tract will complete their
development plans for zoning at this time.
Chairman Weber inquired if there were
others present who wished to speak in this zoning case. There being none,Chairman
Weber declared the Public Hearing closed.
Mr. Browne made the motion to recommend
approval of the rezoning, from "A" Residential to "A-3" Multiple Family Dwelling,
of the nine (9) acre tract, as requested. Doctor Lande seconded the motion, and
the vote is as follows:

Nays: one
Chairman Weber declared the motion carried.
II .
CONSIDERATION OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE
It was agreed, by general consent, that
the proposed zoning ordinance will be discussed at the next regular meeting of the
Planning and Zoning Commission.
III .
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 8:30 P. M.
