CALL TO ORDER
The called meeting of the Euless City Council
was called to order at 7:15 p.m., in the Council Chambers of Euless City Hall
by Mayor Harold Sarnuels. Other members present were Messrs. Raymond Ozebek,
Glenn Walker, and Robert Pippin. (Absent were Mr. Charles Hunt and Mrs. Willie
Mae McCormick.)
Also present were City Manager W. M. Sustaire
and City Secretary Della Houy.
VISITORS
Visitors in attendence were Mesdms. Judy
Pippin, and Velma Pippin.
CANVASS OF ELECTION BALLOTS
Mayor Samuels announced that this meeting is
for the purpose of canvassing the ballots cast in the Municipal Election held
on this date for the purpose of electing three (3) Councilpersons, Place One,
Three, and Five.
Mr. Howard Wilkinson, Election Judge, presented
the tabulation of the votes and results of the election, as follows, with a total
of four hundred, forty -eight votes cast:
Counci 1, Place One
Robert Pippin (Incumbent)
Counci 1. Place Three
Glenn Walker (Incumbent)
George Martinez
Council. Place Five
Raymond Ozebek (Incumbent)

Mr. Pippin moved to accept the tabulation of
the votes as presented by the Election Judge and declare Robert M. Pippin
re- elected Councilman Place One, Glenn Walker re- elected Councilman Place
(Page Two, Called Meeting, Euless City. Council, April 1, 1978)
Three, and Raymond Ozebek re- elected Councilman Place Five, for a period of
two (2) years.
Mr. Walker seconded the motion and the
vote is as follows:
Ayes: Messrs. Pippin, Walker, and Ozebek
Nays: None
Mayor Samuels declared the motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Samuels declared the meeting adjourned
at 7:20 p.m.
