and Cummings Road . (Suggested date - January 20 , 1970)

Calling Public Hearing on Zoning Case No. 198, request for
rezoning Tract 4, B. F. Crowley Survey (26,946 acres) , from
"R-1" Single Family Dwelling District to "R-3" Multiple
Family Dwel l ing District , Harold Hall , D,V.M. Props
located on East side of North Main Street at Oak Lane.

k•' In response to the request of Mr. Bill Tench , I contacted Chairman
Weber regarding the possibility of setting dates for Public Hearings
on Zoning Cases 197 and 198, without holding a formal meeting of the
Planning and Commission, because of the anticipated low temperatures.
Mr. Weber was agreeable , and I also contacted Mr. Richard Leggett ,
who advised that he was agreeable .
I was unable to contact Messers. Browne, Arth, Cline and Keplinger
immediately. However, Mr. Keplinger's mother advised that his wife
was in the hospital , and his attendance at the meeting was doubtful .
As soon as possible, I telephoned the residences of each of the other
members and left the message that a meeting would not be held this
evening; however, the two public hearings will be held on January 20,
1970.
I was unable to reach Mr. or Mrs. Browne until about 7:00 in the
evening.
Mr. Cline returned my call shortly before the regular meeting time.

I also called Doctor Hall 's residence and advised Mrs . Hall of the
circumstances, and called Mr. Purvis ' office and talked with Mr. York.
