Planning and Zoning Commission
November 21 , 1972
CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Planning
and Zoning Commission was called to order at 8:00 P. M. in the Council
Chambers of Euless City Hall by Chairman Jack Cline. Other members
present were Messrs. Ray Ozebek, Herman Wallace, Richard Leggett, and
Carl Tyson. (Absent were Messrs. Harry Arth and Robert Johnson.)
Also present was City Inspector Jack
Bullard.

Visitors in attendance are listed
as follows: Messrs. J. R. Payne, Fred Joyce, C. E. Stewart, M. Q.
Wiser, Richard J. Thomes, and Jerry D. Shipley, and Mesdms . Nell
Longfellow, J. R. Payne, M. Q. Wiser, and Bedsol .
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. Leggett moved to approve minutes
of the regular meeting dated October 17, 1972 as written.
Mr. Wallace seconded the motion and
the vote is as follows :
Ayes : Messrs . Leggett, Wallace, Tyson, Ozebek, and Cline
Nays : None
Chairman Cline declared the motion carried.
II .
PUBLIC HEARING: ZONING CASE NO. 227 - REQUEST FOR CHANGE
OF ZONING ON LOTS 13 AND 14, RAY SHELTON SUBDIVISION FROM
"R-1" SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT TO "PD" PLANNED DE-
VELOPMENT. (PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF FULLER-
WISER ROAD, 1266 FEET NORTH OF HARWOOD ROAD.)
Chairman Cline opened the Public Hearing
on Zoning Case No. 227 and recognized Mr. C. E. Stewart, who presented the
Zoning Case.
Mr. Stewart presented the development
plan and stated that his client plans two (2) eight-story office buildings ,
a motel , and a service station. His firm will occupy four floors of one
of the eight-story buildings and the remainder of the development will be
available for lease. He stated the project is scheduled to begin within
two years, if the airport opens as scheduled.

Chairman Cline inquired if opponents
illir or proponents are present in this case.
The following proponents were recognized;
each stating approval of this rezoning:
Mr. Manning Grinnan (trustee for a portion of land within
200 feet.)
Mr. J. L. Payne, representing Mrs. Nell Longfellow, owner
of two tracts north of Lots 13 and 14, Ray
Shelton Subdivision.
Mrs . Bedsol , representing the property owner on the north-
west corner of Harwood and Fuller-Wiser Road.
There were no opponents present.
Chairman Cline declared the Public
Hearing closed.
Mr. Ozebek moved to recommend approval
of the zoning requested in Zoning Case No. 227.
Mr. Leggett seconded the motion and the
vote is as follows :
Ayes : Messrs. Ozebek, Leggett, Wallace, and Cline
Nays : Mr. Tyson
Chairman Cline declared the motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 9:15 P. M.
