Planning and Zoning Commission
June 15, 1976
CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Planning
and Zoning Commission was called to order at 8:00 p.m. in the Council
Chambers of Euless City Hall by Chairman Tyson. Other members present were
Messrs. Troy Fuller, Neal Adams, Sam Munir, Dick Wells, and Mrs. Helen
Lightbody. (Absent was Mr. Robert Johnson.)
Also present were Director of Public
Works, Jack Bullard and Recording Secretary, Becky Gunter.
VISITORS
Visitors in attendance were Mrs.
Willie Mae McCormick and Mr. Jerry Murphy.
INVOCATION
The invocation was given by Mr. Dick
Wells.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. Adams made a motion to approve the
minutes of the regular meeting dated June 1 , 1976, as written.
Mr. Fuller seconded the motion and the
vote is as follows:
Ayes: Messrs. Adams, Fuller, Wells, Tyson, Munir, and Mrs. Lightbody.
Nays: None
Chairman Tyson declared the motion
carried.

PUBLIC HEARING - ZONING CASE NO. 255
REQUEST OF HERMAN SMITH & CO. FOR
CHANGE OF ZONING FROM "C-2" COMMUNITY
BUSINESS DISTRICT TO "SP" SPECIFIC
USE PERMIT DISTRICT FOR BOWLING
ALLEY ON A PORTION OF TRACT A, WILSHIRE
VILLAGE SHOPPING CENTER. (PROPERTY
LOCATED IN WILSHIRE VILLAGE SHOPPING
CENTER, SOUTH OF SAGEBRUSH TRAIL AND
WEST OF PILGRIM MINI-WAREHOUSES.)
Chairman Tyson opened the Public
Hearing and stated that a representative of Herman Smith & Co. was not present
to make the presentation.
Mr. Fuller made a motion to continue
the Public Hearing on Zoning Case No. 255 at the next regular meeting of the
Planning and Zoning Commission.
Mrs. Lightbody seconded the motion and
the vote is as follows:
Ayes: Mr. Fuller, Mrs. Lightbody, Messrs. Wells, Tyson, Munir, and Adams.
Nays: None
Chairman Tyson declared the motion
carried.

The meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
