HomeMy WebLinkAbout1995-09-05 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE SEPTEMBER 5, 1995 MINUTES Chairman Ronald Young called the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee into session at 7:05 P.M. in the Council Chambers for the consideration of scheduled items. He stated that five members of the CIAC were present. Furthermore, the agenda had been posted in accordance with applicable law. MEMBERS & STAFF PRESENT MEMBERS ABSENT Chairman Ronald Young Joy Baldwin Keith Eggers Nancy Bright Billy Owens George Zahn Robert McMillon Randy Byers, Director of Public Works & Development Paul Kruckemeyer, City Engineer Andrea Baxter, Assistant City Engineer Rod Tyler, City Planner Donna Brown, Staff Secretary Linda Lux, Staff Secretary ITEM NO. I CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION NO. 95-02 CIAC Consideration of a resolution conveying the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee Semi-Annual Report for the period January 1, 1995 through June 30, 1995. Rod Tyler , City Planner, reported that the information contained in the Commissioner's packets was a six month report for the first half of the year on the Capital Improvements Plan in which the city now functions in order to comply with state law. He stated that reports were reviewed by the DRC (Development Review Committee) and City Staff had recommended approval of Resolution No. 95-02 CIAC. Chairman Young reviewed the memorandums from Paul Kruckemeyer (City Engineer), Alice Norwood (Accountant II), Kevin Mercer (Development Services Manager) and Rod Tyler (City Planner). He stated that all information appeared to be in order and stated that in the future the Commissioners would like to show the expenditure amounts in the City Engineer's report. Andrea Baxter, Assistant City Engineer, advised the Commissioners that their report included $35,000 from Pulte Homes for the oversizing of the water main along East Harwood Road. Commissioner Owens made the motion to approve Resolution No. 95-02 CIAC and was seconded by Commissioner Eggers. The vote was as follows: Ayes: Commissioners Owens, Eggers, Zahn, McMillon and Young Nays: None The motion carried.
