Euless City Council
April 7, 1979
CALL TO ORDER
The called meeting of the Euless City
Council was called to order at 7:35 p.m. , in the Council Chambers of Euless
City Hall by Mayor Harold Samuels. Others present were Mayor Pro -tem Willie
Mae McCormick, Councilmen Charles Hunt, Glenn Walker, and Robert Pippin.
(Absent were Councilman Raymond Ozebek. )
VISITORS
Visitors in attendance were Mrs. Norma
Morelock and Mr. Don Perkins.
CANVASS ELECTION RESULTS
Mayor Samuels stated the purpose of the
called meeting is to canvass the election results of the municipal election
held this date. Mayor Samuels recognized Mrs. Norma Morelock, Election Judge.
Mrs. Morelock presented the election
results, with 501 votes cast, as follows:
Mayor

Council Place Two
Charles Hunt

Mr. Walker moved to accept the election
results, as presented by the Election Judge, Mrs. Norma Morelock, electing
Harold D. Samuels, Mayor; Charles Hunt, Council Place Two; Mrs. Willie Mae
McCormick, Council Place Four.

Mr. Pippin seconded the motion and the vote
is as follows:
Ayes: Messrs. Walker, Pippin, Hunt, and Mrs. McCormick
Nays: None
Mayor Samuels declared the motion carried.
Mayor Samuels thanked the election officials
for their time in conducting the election.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the
meeting adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
