May 11 , 2021
CALL TO ORDER
A Special Called meeting of the Euless City Council was called to order by Mayor Linda
Martin at 4 : 00 p . m . on Tuesday , May 11 , 2021 , in the Precouncil Conference Room in
City Hall , 201 N . Ector Drive , Euless , Texas . Those present included Mayor Linda Martin
and Council Members Jeremy Tompkins and Harry Zimmer .
Pursuant to Section 67 . 004 of the Texas Election Code , two members of the City Council
constitute a quorum for purposes of canvassing an election .
STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT
City Manager Loretta Getchell
City Secretary Kim Sutter
ITEM NO . 1 CANVASSED THE RETURNS AND DECLARED THE RESULTS
OF THE MAY 1 , 2021 CITY COUNCIL GENERAL ELECTION
City Secretary Kim Sutter presented the results of the May 1 , 2021 City Council General
Election :
TOTAL PERCENTAGE
Place 5 Harry Zimmer 1 , 403 59 . 17 %
Annabel Jones Eads 968 40 . 83 %
Place 6 Eric Owens 1 , 147 45 . 53 %
Joseph A . Robinson 184 7 . 30 %
Tika Paudel 1 , 118 44 . 38 %
Tina Duru 70 2 . 78 %
TOTAL BALLOTS CAST : 2 , 589 ( 7 . 81 % voter turnout)
City Secretary Suffer advised that with no candidate receiving a majority of the votes in
the Place 6 race , a runoff election is necessary and will be held on June 5 , 2021 .
Mayor Martin motioned to canvass the returns and declare the results of the May 1 , 2021
City Council General Election as presented .
Council Member Tompkins seconded the motion .
Ayes : Mayor Martin , Council Members Tompkins , and Zimmer

Nays : None
Mayor Martin declared the motion carried .
ITEM NO . 3 ADJOURN
There being no further business , the meeting was adjourned at 4 : 02 p . m .
